Right Angle

I've always been a little bit amazed at those people who can pose in front of a camera and get terrific shots effortlessly. My cousin, an avid self-promoter through her own cellphone camera, says its just a matter of "thinking beautiful" and finding your right angle.

Hmmnn... "Easy!", I thought. Hah! Turns out not so easy for me. After about 10 excruciating tries, I got about 2-3 passable shots. (Whew! Who says models have it easy?)

I just can't get over the internal cringing at the silliness of it all. The harder I try the more self-conscious I become. The more self-conscious I get, the worse the picture.

I guess I'll just have to live with the fact that I don't have a right angle... or, I just haven't found it yet (hoping still!). Whichever the case, I leave the camera to the more experienced self-promoters out there, thank you very much.
