A Test of Patience

To quote a forwarded text message, "Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a positive attitude while waiting."

Too true, don't you think?

Sometimes we need a little help in the patience department. But we tend to think that because we are waiting, we are practicing patience. We neglect to take into consideration the attitude that goes with it.

Some do the sighing bit; some the bratty tantrum; while others, do it in quiet contemplation.

No doubt for some (like yours truly) waiting can be an excruciating thing. But in the end, if we just sustain the positive attitude, the waiting part can be quiet fun.

So here's to waiting... and keeping a positive attitude while doing it.
